Obituary of Marian W. Wellens

Wellens- Marian W. 89 of St. Petersburg passed away Monday, August 13, 2007 at Menorah Manor. Born in Newark, New Jersey, Marian moved to St. Petersburg in 1959 from Sarasota. She formerly worked at City Hall in Newark, and locally worked as a receptionist for R & R Webb Spraying Service. A longtime member of Temple Beth-El, Marian was a very active with the Temple Sisterhood where she served as past president, and worked around the Temple volunteering in many capacities. She is survived by her loving daughter Marci Labreck of St. Petersburg; brother Seymour Weiss of Maryland; grandson Clayton Carraway and great-granddaughter Amanda Carraway both of St. Petersburg. Funeral services for Marian Wellens will be 10AM Wednesday, August 15, 2007 in the David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Royal Palm Cemetery-South.
