Obituary of Flora Hollins

Hollins, Flora, 92. Died September 23, 2007. Born in Baltimore, MD., she came to this area in 2006 from Silver Spring, MD. She was co-owner of Hollins Department Store in Millington, MD., and secretary to the director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Silver Spring. She was also a stenographer for United Telegraph. She was an active member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She enjoyed theater, symphony and opera. She was a world traveler who celebrated her 80th birthday by going mountain climbing in Portugal. Survivors include her two daughters, Susan Hollins, Grantham, NH, and Paula Hollins, Brooklyn, NY; three grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel.
