Obituary of Linda Sue Thorp

Linda Sue Thorp, 52, of St. Petersburg, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute after a brave battle with cancer. Born in Clay, Kentucky, she came to Florida in 2003 from St. Charles, Kentucky. Locally, she was a waitress at Bob Evans. She was Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Ronald E. Thorp of Morganfield, Kentucky; one son, Gregory Brantley of Riverview, Florida; one daughter, Teri Gatten of St. Petersburg; her mother, Willie Blanche Morse of Clay, Kentucky; one brother, Paul Harmon of Sturgis, Kentucky; two sisters, Donna Braden of Clay, Kentucky and Peggy Day of Madisonville, Kentucky; two grandsons Jesse Brantley of St. Petersburg and Brandon Brantley of Riverview and two granddaughters, Feleasha Starks and Brittany LaPlante, both of Riverview. Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M. Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Calvary Cemetery, 11801 U.S. Hwy. 19 North in Clearwater, Florida. David C. Gross Funeral Home is serving the family.
