Words cannot possibly express the loss we feel. We choose to remember the laughter we've shared with you, the bowling games we've played, and the ups and downs of working at the police department. We missed you when you moved to Florida but it doesn't compare with how much we miss you now. God Bless the family and we are here if you ever need us for anything. Love always, Charles and Earlene Busby

My deepest condolence for Howard and his family. Howard gave much to the people honored by his presence. He was strong but kind, he was determined yet gentle, he was enlightened yet humble and he was courageous but not selfish. I will miss Howard.

Family, Howard and I worked at Decatur Police Department. He called me son and I called him dad. My relationship with Howard was one I cherished very much. We talked everday at work bringing each other our problems and complaints having a friend to vent to was valuable to us both. Howard so looked forward to retirement. I know his health going down was not one of his plans for retirement. I pray that God lets Howard rest in his arms from the many physical struggles he had to go through. I will miss you Howard. You were a good friend and a Dad to me. May God Bless his family during this difficult time. Your father, husband, and grand dad was loved by me. Howard until we see each other again.

We are sorry for your loss, but look forward to seeing him with yo on the other side in the New Jerusalem. Life does NOT end in death. Jesus concured death and came back to prove to us that death is NOT the end of God's plan for us.
