Karen was an amazing women. She helped bring my daughter and I together. She had infinit patience with months of phone calls east coast to west coast coaching me through the waiting. Then later she found time to continue our visits with support and advise for a new mom. I regret that I was never able to met her but she is the god mother to our family. We will hold you in our thoughts and send our deepest sympathy to Jay and the family.

I first met Karen in 1983 and spent the summer of 1984 with her at Hidden Valley Camp. Over the years I came to appreciate what a remarkable woman she was, and I am deeply and profoundly saddened by her death. The world is a poorer place without her.

Karen was an amazing individual who was loved by the campers and staff at Camp MOL. Along with her husband Jay, Karen was a main ingredient at camp that made it a truly fantastic experience for both campers and staff! Karen will be missed and can NEVER be replaced! To know her was truly a blessing and we offer our sincere sympathy to Jay and the family.

So very sad to hear the news. Karen, in all her sensitivity and wisdom was able to create an atmosphere at Camp Med-o-Lark that provided my children with, to date, the best summers of their lives. Our thoughts and condolences are with the family.
