Janet Bock (Friend and Family) posted a condolence

iMy deepest sympathy and prayers to Jean's family and friends. I have been blessed to call Jean my friend. From the time I first met Jean, she treated me with such kindness and generosity that I was a friend and part of the family. She made you feel good about yourself and your spirit would feel lifted up after speaking with her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a zest for living. Jean included me on her many trips to the theater and concerts. She also took me to many lovely restaurants where I had an opportunity to try new foods and share her company. I will treasure the many happy hours we spent together. Jean loved the Lord and her daily walk was an example to us all. I know that she has been called home and has been reunited with her loved ones, but the world has lost a sweet and precious lady. I love her and will miss her more than words can say.

Though we know Heaven has welcomed a Very Special Person, our hearts still feel the sorrow. With Sympathy and Loving Prayers. I (Jo-Ann) would like to add that Jean, her Sister Hazel and I had many great times together here in Salisbury. We went to greenhouses to look at and purchase flowers for planting in our flower gardens (which Jean really loved her flowers), going shopping and going out to eat - then stop for (real ice cream) quite often. I am going to really miss a "Special Friend".
