Obituary of Carmela P. Herbert

Carmela P. Herbert, 86 of Gulfport. Passed away Mar. 3, 2008. Born in Gladstone, NJ., she came here in 1993 from Asheville, NC. She was a member of Pasadena Baptist Church. She was a "Rosie the Riveter" during World War II for Eastern Aircraft Co. Survivors include her husband, Frank Jr; sons, Frank Herbert III (Terry), Jack Herbert (Wendy Stager); daughters, Pamela Sherlin, Linda Austin (Clayton), Deborah Herbert; sister, Dorothy Sherman; eight grandchildren. Funeral service will be 3 PM on Thursday (3/6) at the funeral home. Friends will be received from 2 PM until service time. David C.
