Obituary of Carol Jean Hadrika

73, of St. Petersburg, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008. Born in Everett, Massachusetts, she moved to Florida in 1973 from Marblehead, Massachusetts. She attended Pasadena Community Church and was an administrative assistant for the Pinellas County Public School system for over twenty-five years, having worked at Azalea Middle School, Boca Ciega High School, Nina Harris Center and the Hamilton Disston SED Center. She was an avid reader, world traveler, and enjoyed dancing and home entertaining. Her biggest love was her family. Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-two years, Max; her son Kurt and his wife, Darlene, of Orlando, Florida; her daughters, Holly Hadrika of St. Petersburg, Florida and Heidi Gunn and her husband, Ed, of Powell , Ohio and four grandchildren, Emily K. Hadrika and Karl W. Hadrika, both of Orlando, Florida and Hannah G. Gunn and Ethan E. Gunn, both of Powell, Ohio. Funeral services for Mrs. Hadrika will be 11 AM Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dena Saip officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Friends will be received from 10 AM through service time. David C. Gross Funeral Home is serving the family.
