Obituary of Donald Grube

Donald "Don" Grube 83 of St. Petersburg passed away March 19, 2008 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, South Pasadena. Born in Westchester PA, Don moved to St. Petersburg in 1954 from Coatsville PA. He formerly owned and operated Shore Acres Nursing Home. Don was a member of Egypt Temple Shrine and was a past Captain of Ye Mystic Krewe of Neptune. During World War II, he served in the Army. His memory will be cherished by his loving daughters Karen (Merrill) King and Donna (Jerry) Babcock and adored grandchildren Jamie Babcock and Morgann King. Friends will be received at the David C. Gross Funeral Home on Monday, March 24, 2008 from 4-7PM, where Masonic services will be 2PM Tuesday. Burial will follow in Royal Palm Cemetery-South. Flowers will be appreciated, or memorial donations can be made to the Shriners Hospital-Tampa, or the Pinellas Sheriffs Police Athletic League. David C. Gross Funeral Homes is serving the family.
