Obituary of Robert L. Kruse
Robert L. Kruse, 86 passed away April 23, 2008 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. Born in Oregon City, Oregon, he came here in 1993 from LaGrange, Illinois. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church, St. Pete Beach. He was founder of MAD. He was a lifetime member of Odd Fellows, Oriental Shriners, and Masonic Lodge. He was a member of AART, Pasadena Yacht Club, Monarch of International Alliance, International Light and Tackle-TAA2002, and Royal Arch. He was an avid sailor. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Evelyn O; sons, Robert L. Jr, Colorado Springs, CO; John G., Torrington, CT., Loren, Cleveland, OH; daughters, Candace Pitts, Spring Green, WI., Carolyn "Olga" Kruse, St. Petersburg; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Visitation Monday, April 28th from noon until service time at 2PM at David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Online guestbook at www.davidcgross.com.
