Pamela (...in my eyes like a daughter......) posted a condolence
Saturday, August 2, 2008
I am truly saddened by this tragic loss of a man to whom I grew up loving like a father. Archie was and will always be in my eyes my second dad. The love he always showed me was absolutely one that brought me unbelievable happiness and joy. His sense of humor and the funny things that I remember him saying even as I type now brought true happiness to my heart. Archie, all you have lost in this life is the skin over your soul.... A soul that is now at peace and has to hurt no more. The beautiful heart that you had has touched everyone who has been blessed by your presence, and those who did not have the chance to know you will forever have missed something great. No matter what anyone says, "You were my dad too!!!" I will miss you dearly dad, and until we meet again......take care up there!!!! I love you always, Pamela

Archie was a kind soul, he would give you the shirt off his back. He loved kids and they loved him in return. Every chance he got to give Diddle candy he would. Then he would tell Diddle "Don't tell mommy." As soon as Diddle saw me he would say, "Archie gave me candy!" His face would be covered with candy, like that's not a give away. Archie loved spending time with his family. He would always give you a good laugh. He will be missed but not forgotten. With love, from his niece Katrina

Archie was a fun loving free spirit. He had a gift for seeing people and a talent for describing what he sees in single comical statement. A gift which lead one of his friends to deem him the "One-Liner King". Archie had a way of listening to people and really hearing what they say, and in his own gruff way, offering his thoughtful advise. Archie had a kind heart and a deep love for his big family. He was smart, and he was funny, and his presents here with us will truly be missed. Donnie we are so sorry for your loss, thanks to God this life is not the end, you will be with your dad again. Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear.
