Dear Martha: I just learned of Steve's death from Bubba and Sallie, and wanted you to know that I am thinking of you during this time of loss. What a great friend he was to so many! I will treasure his memory, and remember special times spent with him! I am so thankful that you shared so many years with him. He was so proud of you, and the many positions you held with the PO. I know this will leave a huge void for you, but pray that you have many wonderful friends and family who will be there for you! Love, Barb (Grinny)

Dear family, I am very sorry to read about Steve's death. I remember him as a good athlete, but more so as an enthusiastic person who really cared about his family and friends. I appreciate his service to our country and the sacrifices that he made for all of us. Sincerely, Mike Dalton MC Class of 66

Martha, I am thinking of you today in light of Steve's recent death. I want to say again that Steve was a delight to have in our Cancer Support Group at Bay Pines. He was well respected and loved as a friend and fellow cancer survivor. His insisgts were carefully conveyed to others suffering from cancer. He is missed by that group, I know. And even though I am now retired as a Staff Chaplain at Bay Pines,I wanted to express my care and concern for you at this time. God bless you.
