Obituary of Phillip Arden Smith

Phillip Arden Smith, 71, of St. Petersburg, Florida stepped into the presence of his Lord and Savior on September 9, 2022.  He was born at Mound Park Hospital (now Bayfront) and lived most of his life here in St. Petersburg except for four years served in the Air Force, stationed in Seoul, Korea.  He is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Arden Scott, and Lisa Arden Rico, and son, Michael Smith Gitchel, and daughter, Kelly Russo.  A military honors service will be held on Friday, September 23, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bay Pines VA National Cemetery.  On Saturday, September 24, at 11:00 a.m. a memorial service will be held at St. Petersburg Community Church, 4501 30th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33713
