Linda Goldis was born in Queens, New York, the daughter of Irma Nussbaum and Arron Buch. Linda has a brother Danny Buch and two married daughters, Randi Jahnke and Allison Fortney, who has a son Alex and a daughter Ashley. Also, a steadfast cousin, Diana Nussbaum.

Linda passed away peacefully on 3/19/22 at Tidewell Hospice House after a heroic battle with colon and stomach cancer. A small family group will attend a remembrance of Linda on April 5th at the Palms Memorial Park Cemetery on Honore and Fruitville at 11:30 a.m. After that a larger gathering for friends and associates are invited to our house at 1 p.m. for Linda’s celebration of her life. Our address is 1712 Old Summerwood Blvd Sarasota Fl. 34232.

She will be remembered by many of her family and friends as a spiritual, mental health healer. She lived in Queens, N.Y. until about age thirty. Then she moved to Sarasota, Florida, where she obtained a master's degree and became a Phyco-therapist, licensed Health counselor. She had a natural way of engaging everyone with love and compassion that helped and healed so many of her family, friends, and clients. Her mission was "Life Doesn't Have to Hurt."

Linda found and pursued her passion as a health counselorwith her natural compassionate, aspiring ways. To sum up,Linda H. Goldis was the Mother Teresa of our world in Sarasota and will solemnly be missed by so many.

The care of Linda and her family has been entrusted to David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg.
