Obituary of Renate Seiltgen

Seiltgen, Renate, 88 of St. Petersburg passed away March 15, 2022, at Peninsula Care in Tarpon Springs while in Palliative care.  Born and raised in Gau-Heppenheim, Germany, she and her husband Willi immigrated to the United States in 1960, settling in Syracuse, N.Y.  Renate and her family took yearly vacation’s in Florida, and in 1978 the Seiltgen family moved to St. Petersburg.  Renate’s first job in Florida was at the Clock restaurant on 4^th street, starting out as a waitress and later becoming a store manager.  She was preceded in death by her husband Willi, and granddaughter Tiffany Seiltgen.  Renate is survived by her daughter Dagmar Hunter; her two sons, Friedrich & Stephan Seiltgen; grandchildren David Hunter Jr. and Sage Seiltgen; great-grandchildren Aiden, Lily, and Gavin Hunter.  She is remembered for her sense of humor, and her beautiful smile.  Renate’s Memorial service will be held at a future date with her family.
