I was too emotional to read this at the funeral today.
Eulogy for Dad
When we lose our Father it's like a piece of us is gone, like something got chipped away. The grief that we are going through in time will subside, but our memories of us together will last all of our lives.
When i first met my wife Eileen, we somehow knew that we had found something special. I met her parents about a week later while they were visiting Pittsburgh. I was welcomed in to the family immediately. Larry was the father that i wish i had growing up. Always there with a smile and a story. I know i am a better father myself because of him.
May the many happy times we had together be etched into our memories, where Larry will live on forever.
Rest in peace Larry, you are loved by all who knew you.
