So very sad to hear this terrible news. Dick was an incredible leader for his company and helped to drive the NBA's very successful business during our long partnership. He and Marty were also a phenomenal team and were so great to work with over so many great years. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the entire Jacobson family at this time.

Dick was a man with a loving family and a host of beloved friends. He was generous and thoughtful on many different levels, and he had a smile that would light up any room. I was greatly saddened to hear of the passing of my former boss and friend. Dick was an extraordinarily talented visionary entrepreneur who I had the great good fortune to both know and work for. Dick's drive and genius built one of the best companies in a very competitive segment. He was an American Capitalist who along with his brother Marty employed hundreds of people and made their lives better. He was both tough and fair while possessing a good and kind heart. He was a dedicated father. He taught me more than I can ever tell and I'm grateful for having known him.
Over 50 years of being a mentor and 2nd Brother to me has made me what i am today. From East Longmeadow Mass to Tampa Florida he always made us part of his family. I remember when he told me to go get a new car for Carie and Mark and the smiles he put on there faces. He was a positive influence to everyone he came in contact with. RIP You will be missed by all.
