Obituary of Jason Pietarinen

On Thursday, November 25^th, 2021, Jason Robert Pietarinen, loving brother and son passed away at the age of 40.   

 

Jason was born on December 4^th, 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts to Kenneth and Donna Pietarinen. He attended high school at Sickles where he played basketball and track, and was chosen as who’s who prior to graduation. He proceeded to the University of South Florida and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. After college, he was a loyal employee at Capital One Investments for 11 years. He started as an entry level position and worked his way up to fraud investigation services, where he was head of training. 

 

Jason had a unique intelligence, most notably for getting a near perfect SAT score, teaching himself to play the piano, and his exceptional memory. He had a passion for sports, specifically the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and was an avid movie watcher. He loved animal’s especially his dog, Ronin. He was a kid at heart, had the soul and patience of a saint, and will be missed dearly by his family. 

 

Jason is survived by his mother and father, Donna and Ken, two siblings, Rachel & Erik, brother and sister-in-law, and 4 nieces.
