Dad, I know you are watching and waiting for us all to just laugh the same, move on and live a happy life but you are missed so much. You have been the only one here since the day I was born. Grandma Rose and you loved me unconditionally and for that I am forever grateful. You were the only one who I could call when everything seemed so hard and unmanageable and now Ive lost my best friend, my protector and my loving, funny and kind father. I love you so much and never believed I would have to deal with this. You would always say "Well Punk, I dont know what you are gonna do when Im not around anymore, I cant live forever." And my response was" Shut up dad you will never die cause your strong like superman." I think weve said those two lines to each other so much I actually believed it. You are the biggest blessing ive ever had, you took me in and made sure my life was the best you could make it and I couldnt have asked for a better man to show me what it means to really love someone. You never judged me and always had faith in me and I promise with all my heart I wont let you down. I have a voicemail I just can not delete and listen to probably way too much of you the day before you passed and you say "ill talk to you later, love ya" well i talk to you almost every day after that message is heard and i try to pretend you arent really gone. It hurts too much. I love you with all my heart and I only am getting through this knowing you are at peace with Grandma Rose and your mom, probably up there with ralph,Al and Richie playing cards and having a great time! I love you dad, Rest in Paradise.. Until i see you again.
Your pain in the butt daughter,
HEATHER A.K.A PUNK

I will forever miss and love you grandpa. You meant so much to me and I hate we didn't get as much time together as we should have. You were such an amazing man. Wonderful role model. I love you so much!!

I knew from the moment Penny told me about him that he was one special man. He was kind and gentle and loved my girlfriend, his wife Penny and her sweet Whitney with his whole heart. The day he became Whitney's daddy was the best day ever for her. We enjoyed his visits to Michigan and he even had fun attending one of our class reunions. He will truly be missed! GOD has another amazing angel!

I'll never forget the many weekends where I stayed over while as a kid while the adults got to play poker ! Jim would check in on us and pretty much gave us free reign over the pool and many adventures to the park. Can never forget his laughter and how much he had a good time, and how welcoming he always was. I remember the breakfasts at the Busy Bee restaurant, and the many, many talks of bowling and leagues. Cheers to peace, Uncle Jim
