Helen and I bonded as volunteers at the Holocaust Museum. Helen, Esta, and I really enjoyed each other's company so we decided to take it outside of the museum. For many years, we took turns hosting dinners each month. Our conversations were always lively, engaging, informative, insightful, and joyful. At one of the dinners that Helen hosted, she graced us with her music. It was truly one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen. I was sitting on her sofa, the Don framed by the window to her right, and the glow of the setting sun upon her face was beautifully magical as she passionately played her piano. She brought a smile to my eyes and warmth to my heart every time I saw her riding her bicycle on Sunset Way, her helmet always cocked to one side and a look of intense determination in her eyes. I haven't seen Helen in a few years. As I write this, I am becoming all too aware that I need to express my love and appreciation for the people in my life who have left their imprint on my heart. Thank you, Dear Helen! With love...Eileen
