Obituary of Ann L. Russell

Ann L. Russell, 80, Clearwater, FL Ann L. Russell, a daughter, sister, mother, friend, grandmother, and longtime resident of Falmouth passed away 6 August 2021, with her son at her bedside. She was 80.

Ann Harner LaCrosse Russell was born in Warren, OH and grew up in Louisville, KY. She moved to MA after college and spent most of her adult life in Falmouth on Cape Cod. She loved The Cape, her home, the water, her tennis, her stitching (award winning), her friends, her family, her extended family, her Chocolate Fridays and her Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. We certainly cannot forget her sports teams - Ann loved her Red Soxs, Bruins, Patriots, and Celtics. Ann was a teacher, real estate agent, office manager, all while being a wife, mother, and then grandmother. 

She was predeceased by her husband Charles A. "Chuck" and is survived by her son Charles M. "Marty" (Daughter-in-Law Sharon), her Granddaughter Marissa Ann (mother Patricia), her sister Sara Villavicencio (husband Jorge), and Brother-in-Law Paul Russell (wife Janice).

Recently in Clearwater, FL battling Alzheimer's Disease, she was a joy to the Assisted Living Community in which she lived, bringing smiles and a laugh to those she encountered.

There will not be a service in the Clearwater area. A service will be held at a later date for close friends and family.
