Our condolences to the entire family. She was a wonderful woman and my mother (Pauly) and I remember Aunt Marie fondly. My sister and I (Karen and Kathy) remember visiting her and Buddy with our grandmother, Paulina, when we were little at their home near the gulf in Redington Beach. Sending blessings and prayers to all. Kathy & Pauly

Remember how we met.? I was drinking coffee at Tyler's Restaurant in Shopping Center, in Miami, when your husband, Vinnie, said, go to my house and wake up my wife, Marie, exterminate the house, instead of Cliff and ask Marie for a cup of coffee. Since I worked for Cliff's Spray Service, I complied. I woke her up and asked for a cup of coffee. As we sat down to drink it, it was the beginning of a lifetime friendship. We started playing scrabble on Saturday nights while Vinnie worked late at the pizzeria, my son, Mike, was always watching TV while we played waiting for "Uncle Vinnie" to bring home a pizza. Sometimes we played until 4AM in the morning. Neither one of us wanted to quit. After the pool was built in the backyard, we played every Sunday afternoon. You and Vinnie went on cruises with me and my husband. After Vinnie died and I was divorced, we went out often. It was at the Sword and Marlin, you met Buddy Bernard, your second husband. You were my maid of honor at my wedding to Bill Ward. As couple's we often went out socially and when you and Buddy moved to the Keys, Bill and I were often house guests. Then you and Buddy moved to Redington Shores, and Bill and I visited you there. I was hosting a softball tournament in Madeira Beach for the US Coast Guard, a mile from your home, when Buddy died. Then Bill died and we got together at your house in Redington Beach often. Always we played scrabble, whenever we got together. I have never found another scrabble partner. We had so much fun and laughter. We had adventures together. I sincerely miss you. You were a lifetime friend. The last time I talked to you on the phone it was as though I had just seen you.. We instantly connected even if it was a couple of months due to you being in and out of the hospital and COVID 19. We had a very special relationship... I will always miss you. Love, Gayle

What a wonderful woman!. I loved her deeply and I enjoyed to work with her for many years. Furthermore, I learned to cook Cuban and Italian food. She was very generous and gentle with me. We had wonderful times shopping and looking for bargains but good quality items. Additionally, She taught me about gardening and flowers. I had a deep connection with her. She deserve a place in heaven. God bless her.
This painting is a precious gift I received from her.
Rest in peace.

Marie, you’ll never know how much you’ll be missed. Thanks to you, Vince and your loving daughters for accepting me, a young lost little boy into your loving family! It seems like yesterday that we were all together working at Marciano’s Pizza, so much fun and love shared together. I’ll always love you and never forget your family and the love everyone shared with me. I know you’re having a special life in heaven and if I’am so blessed we’ll see other again!
