Obituary of Daniel Farris

Daniel (Dan) Farris passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, three days after his 96th birthday. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a good salesman, carpenter, golfer, and friend to many in St. Petersburg, where he lived since 1959. He was born In 1924 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and served in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) during World War II, where he met Caroline, his wife of 65 years.

He is predeceased by his wife and son, Peter. He is survived by his son Paul; his daughters, Christine Farris (son-in-law Bill Rasch) and Amy (Shane) Downs; his granddaughter Alison (Michael) Smith; and great-granddaughters, Madelyn and Riley Smith, who will all miss him very much.

The care of Mr. Farris and his family has been entrusted to David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg.
