Obituary of Victoria Love Bartholomew

 

Victoria Love Bartholomew, 58, unexpectedly passed from this world on September 3rd, 2020. She was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, and had resided in Clearwater for the past 20 years. Victoria, a graduate of Chamberlain High School, was a beautiful light to all who knew her. One of her many passions was cooking gourmet holiday dinners with her husband, Joel, to the delight of her entire family. She loved the beauty of the ocean, the serenity of walks on the beach, and the joy of spending time with family and her many friends. 

 

Victoria was a truly caring and giving person, so we ask that you honor her memory through a simple act of kindness to someone else - a smile, a listening ear, or a helping hand. In that way, we can each bring her with us today, and tomorrow. 

 

Waiting to greet Victoria were her beloved parents Dr. H. Eugene Johnson and Catherine Cruz Johnson, her daughter Christine Love Bartholomew, and her best friend Janet Long Clark. Victoria is survived by her loving husband Joel G. Kaplan; her brothers Paul Duval Johnson, Gregory Prince Johnson (Rhonda), Michael Hampton Johnson, and David Eugene Johnson; her cousins Andy Johnson (Bryan) and Kenny Johnson (Nancy), and numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss her dearly. 

The care of Victoria and her family has been entrusted to David C. Gross Funeral Home, St. Petersburg.
