Sebby DiCaro

Obituary of Sebby N. DiCaro

Sebby DiCaro—Of Gulfport, Florida, passed away peacefully at Suncoast Hospice Care Center on June 8th. He leaves behind his loving wife, Susan, his two daughters, Rachel and Christina, and his siblings in the United States and Sicily. He served in the Italian Navy and traveled aboard across Europe and Africa. When his service concluded, he immigrated to the United States in 1972.  On May 7, 1978, he married his soulmate Susan Capaldi in Lake Carmel, NY. Sebby worked in the boating industry as a wielder and was a universal man of all trades in his working years.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, snorkeling, and boating. Sebby loved the beach and instilled his love of nature in his children. He rescued many dogs, cats, birds, and any creature in between to the chagrin of his wife throughout the course of his life. In his later years, Sebby could be found riding his red motorcycle around town.

He was proud of his children's accomplishments and expressed his joy quietly.

The family sends their sincere gratitude to the nursing team and staff at Suncoast Hospice Care Center Mid-Pinellas.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation in memory of Sebby DiCaro at https://suncoasthospicefoundation.org/donations/.

He laughed often and lived life to the fullest. He's now at peace with his beloved pets at his side walking the grounds of heaven. He is loved and will be missed by many!

Services will be private.

The care of Mr. DiCaro and his family has been entrusted to David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg.
