Obituary of James Sopczak

James F. Sopczak, age 77 - resident of St. Petersburg, Florida died Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at home.  Mr. Sopczak was born December 5, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois.  He was the son of Stanley and Martha (Jander) Sopczak.  He moved to St. Petersburg in November 1979.  On February 10, 1996 he married Sharon Goodrich.  He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, St. Petersburg. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and all of his siblings.  Survivors include 8 sons, 3 daughters and many grandchildren. 

Mr. Sopczak's Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 am Friday, July 10, 2020 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 301 58th Street S., St. Petersburg, Florida
