One of the very many treasured gifts that I’ve been blessed to receive was the day our son was born; with his four-year-old sister at the time, as well.
I could not have loved him anymore than I did, then we all did! No one was ever more nurtured, cuddle, hugged, and kissed more than Nicky!
Nicholas seem to have a light shining on him at all times. He brought complete joy to everyone. At times there were the typical boy, teenage or young adult trials. I’m sure we had more than our share. But this guy was always on an adventure he was always searching for solstice in whatever he was doing. I think the most important thing is that he enjoyed was being with his friends and nature.
I hardly ever saw him that he wasn’t listening to music. I regret not having him take lessons, somehow he reneged at the opportunity on how to play the piano or the guitar.
His Dad and he would spend countless hours together. Whether it was driving to school/College, shooting range, museums, movies or just preparing the next meal.
I couldn’t have been more proud of the way he grew up. Nicholas was his own person, he never imitated anyone else. The personification of pure uniqueness, and of pure love. I asked him if he was a Monk and he said, “yes ma’am!” I do believe he was named, “Thunderbolt Wisdom!”
I will grieve and I will mourn the loss of my beautiful son but I will never forget his love. It will be in my heart forever! Memory Eternal my beloved son. I love you.
Mother xoxo
