Obituary of Arthur B. Howard

Howard- Arthur B. 97 of St. Pete Beach passed away Tuesday May 3, 2005 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, South Pasadena. Born in New York City, he came here in 1969 from Washington D.C. He was an executive Vice President for the Bailey, Green and Elger Company in New York City. He was a member of Congregation Beth Sholom of Gulfport. During World War II, he served in the army signal corp and was able to decipher German and Japanese codes. He was an avid Ham Radio operator. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sylvia and many nieces and nephews. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg, is in charge of arrangements. Graveside services will take place Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 10AM in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo, with Rabbi Michael Torop officiating.
