Obituary of Earl Wallace Moore

Earl “Skip” Wallace Moore Jr., 78, of Clearwater, Florida, died on March 16, 2018. Born and raised in Parsons and Elkins, WV, he spent many years as a Baltimore area resident, 25 years in Virginia Beach and the last 10 years enjoying Clearwater, Florida. Skip’s career began as a young man serving in the United States Navy. He later became a licensed electrician in Maryland, worked in Corporate sales for many years and then became a business owner with multiple successful retail locations throughout Virginia. In recent years he held the position of Fleet Captain for the Clearwater Yacht Club. Skip was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Nusman Foster, his son Earl “Chip” W. Moore III (Lisa Guzzardo), step-sons Samuel C. Foster (Leigh Ferguson), Richard S. Yarow (Debra), Brian M. Yarow (Robin), granddaughter Christina E. Gardner and grandson Douglas M. Gardner, Jr. (Sarah). Skip was also loved and appreciated by step grandchildren Ben, Hannah, Grace, Faith, Clay and Tyler. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Terrie Ann Moore. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Suncoast Hospice at: Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760 or Suncoasthospice.org. Graveside services will be 10 AM Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Belcher Road Chapel in Clearwater is serving the family.
