Obituary of Rabbi Israel Dvorkin
Rabbi Israel Dvorkin 103 of Gulfport passed away May 8, 2012. Born in London England, Rabbi Dvorkin came here in 1988 from Beverly Hills FL. He was the spiritual leader of Congregation Beth Sholom in Gulfport for many years, and served as an Army Chaplain during World War II. Survivors include his daughters Miriam Lampert and Sylvia Rogalsky; son David (Leonore) Dvorkin; grandchildren Reva, Ruth, Mark, Dena and Daniel and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2PM Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 12905 Wild Acres Road, Largo.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Congregation Beth Sholom of Gulfport would be appreciated.
