On January 30th, June E. Koch passed away at age 92. Born to Andrew and Della Pennington. June was preceded in death by her husband Karl J. Koch of 35yrs, children Roseanne Duffett and Dennis Koch. Grandson Jared Koch and siblings Georgia, Lucy, Kenneth and Joyce. Survived by her Grand daughter Nicole Sallas, Great grandchildren Joshua Kintz and Candice Lang. She also has 3 great great grand children with a 4th one on the way.
June worked at the Don Cesar for 24yrs waiting on many famous people. Ron Howard would always ask for her when vacationing with his young children many years ago. She also spent many years working at what used to be Caldwell’s restaurant on the beach, who’s family she loved dearly. She was a very hardworking, dedicated , loving true angel on earth that drew others in with her smile and warm heart. She loved to write poems, read books and do crosswords. You will forever be missed June bug and beloved “Pink Grandma”.
Funeral arrangements: June will be brought to her Grand daughter's home town in TN. Where she will be laid to rest and a Celebration of Life will be held at a date not yet determined.
